Find anything you saved

Search with ⌘K, narrow results with filters, keep saved searches in the sidebar, and search inside PDFs and videos with Pro.

A bookmark is only useful if you can find it again. NestMarks searches the titles, descriptions and saved text of your bookmarks, plus your notes and highlights, from one box.

Search from anywhere

  1. Press ⌘K

Press ⌘ K (Ctrl K on Windows), or click Search or jump to… at the top. Type a few words you remember: results are grouped into bookmarks, notes, highlights, saved searches and folders. Use the arrow keys and Enter to open one.

  2. Search from the address bar

With the extension installed, type nm, a space and your words in Chrome’s address bar to search NestMarks without opening the app.

Narrow it down

  1. Use the library search and filters

The search box above your library searches just your bookmarks. Next to it, the chips Favorites, Has notes and Untagged narrow the list in one click.

Press Filters for more: the Type (Article, Video, Image, PDF or Other), a Site such as example.com, and a Saved date range.

Save a search you repeat

  1. Save the search

With a search and filters set, press Save search, name it and press Save. It appears under Saved searches in the sidebar and in ⌘K, and always shows the latest matches, including bookmarks you save later.

Search inside PDFs and videos (Pro)

  1. Find words inside the file

With NestMarks Pro, search also looks inside saved PDFs and YouTube transcripts. Matches show where they were found, for example in PDF or in transcript, so you can find the talk where someone said the thing you remember.
