Sort your inbox in minutes

Use the Triage layout to give each new save a folder and tags with the keyboard, or move many at once.

Saving is quick on purpose, so your Inbox fills up. The Triage layout shows one bookmark at a time with a suggested home, so a whole Inbox takes minutes instead of an afternoon.

Switch to the Triage layout

  1. Choose Triage

The library opens in the Three-pane layout. Open Settings, then Library, and under Library layout choose Triage. You can switch back at any time from the same place or the account menu.

Sort one bookmark at a time

The Inbox tab now reads Sort your inbox, with a progress bar and the current bookmark in the middle.

  1. Accept the suggestion

When NestMarks has a guess, the Suggested card shows a folder and tags. Press Accept or Enter to file it and move to the next bookmark.

  2. Or choose the folder yourself

Press C (or Folder) and pick a folder. If the right one doesn’t exist yet, choose + New folder… and type its name. To create it inside another folder, type Parent / Child, then press Enter.

  3. Add tags and a note

Press T to add tags and N to write a note about why you saved it. F marks it a favourite.

  4. Skip or delete

Not sure yet? Press A (Skip) to leave it for later. Don’t need it? ⌫ deletes it. Move back and forth with J and K, and press Esc to leave a field.

When the Inbox is empty you will see Inbox zero.

Move many at once

  1. Select and move

In any list, press Select, tick the bookmarks (or Select all on page), then use Move to… to put them in a folder. The same bar adds or removes a tag, favourites, exports or deletes the selection.

You can also drag bookmarks onto a folder in the sidebar.
